Naughty hamster stole the backs off of clips from her cage. Do i try and find them in her burrow?

My very naughty female syrian stole the backs off of two clips on her bucatstate 3.0. I dont want to dig around in her cage and ruin all of her carefully crafted tunnels, but I also dont want her to eat plastic! What do i do? Pic included of missing clips and also naughty hamster

Hamster stretching a lot?

Hi reddit i have noticed that my female syrian stretches all over her cage when she goes about her daily life. She stretches on the walls, the wheel, pretty much anywhere and while it is very cute, im wondering if the frequency of her stretches is an issue. Is this normal or is this stress behavior? She also paces and tries to chew herself out…

Warning about cork logs

Hey everyone I just wanted to come on here and warn people about cork logs, specifically the zoo med rounds. Some of them have cracks in them that NEED to be filled. I found this out the hard way last night. My baby boy Bratwurst got his leg stuck in a crack, and nearly chewed it off trying to escape. His leg was mangled, and I made the difficult decision to put him to sleep. He was an old guy, (around 2), but he still had life in him that was cut short. Please dont make the same mistakes that I did, and make sure everything in your babies cage is safe, as they dont know any better. There is a hamster sized hole in my heart.

Cage advice and decor!

I just upgraded my girl from the 2.0 to the 3.0 as she was exhibiting stress behaviors, and her now cage looks a little too bare, but i am very uninspired. What would you guys add to this? 1yo female syrian with an extra pic of the lady as a tax
