For Every LGBTQ+ Person From Pakistan’s Religious Minority Communities 🌈🤍

To every LGBTQ+ person from Pakistan’s religious minority communities, whether you are Hindu, Christian, Sikh, Parsi, Ahmadi, Kalash, or from any other background, I just want to say that I see you and I am sending you love.

I know life can feel very lonely when you already belong to a minority community and also have an identity that many people around you may not understand or accept. I cannot fully know your pain, but I do know that no one deserves to live in fear for being themselves.

You deserve safety, respect, friendship, love, happiness, and a future where you do not have to hide who you are.

If you have ever felt unseen or unwanted, please remember that there are people who care about you and believe your life matters. I hope you find people and places where you feel accepted, peaceful, and free to be yourself.

Sending love, prayers, and strength to all of you. You matter and you are not alone. 🌈🤍

I’m a 24-year-old gay man from Pakistan.

Hello to my LGBTQ+ friends in India, how is life for you there? I often wonder what your everyday feels like, the small freedoms, the quiet fears, the in betweens we don’t always say out loud.

I’ve always loved the classical dances of India, the grace, the storytelling, the way emotions are expressed so openly. It feels like a kind of freedom in itself.

This post is just an introduction, a small hello across the border. And maybe a confession too, ever since I was younger, I’ve carried this slightly filmy fantasy of a Veer Zara style romance, something that crosses borders, waits through distance, and still finds its way back to love.
