Just a highlight from a recent game. Since I'm here, I might as well ask, what is everybody's favourite build and items to use on Eldegoss? Personally I use Buddy Barrier, Energy Amplifier, and Muscle Band with Pollen Puff and Cotton Spore.
Was fighting this Ace Trainer in Celestial Tower and thought up a way to not take any damage which is just lead Litwick, switch into Zebstrika with Lightning Rod, volt switch into Litwick, repeat. But the Stoutland started going for Ice Fang the second go around.
Can anyone explain why the Stoutland switched up even though Thunder Fang was still highest damage on Litwick? Is it something to do with AI interacting with abilities?
Hello! I am currently doing my first ever nuzlocke, playing Pokemon Black. I just beat the Elesa fight a little while ago (Palpitoad solo sweep), but there was something that happened during the fight that I thought was weird. On three separate occasions, Palpitoad acted faster than her two starting Emolgas and I know for a fact that it's slower.
I'm just curious as to why, it ultimately helped me win the fight. Does Aqua Ring activate Swift Swim or something?

Let me start by saying I haven't had so much fun playing a Pokemon game in such a long time, what a great game.
If it seems like the Pokemon are overlevelled, it's cause it was my third time fighting Steven... got absolutely demolished the first two times before actually trying to make a team to beat his. One thing I learned is that Mawile is an absolute BEAST in the Elite Four and Champion fight—definitely MVP for me. No starter unfortunately :(
