Thinking About Buying a Camaro SS From a Car Auction — Any Tips?
I’m thinking about buying a Camaro SS from a car auction and wanted to see if anybody here has experience with it. I’m trying to get something clean for a good price, but I know auctions can be risky too.
What are the biggest things I should look out for before bidding?
• Salvage vs rebuilt title?
• Common mechanical problems on Camaro SS models?
• Mileage limits I should stay under?
• Best auction sites to use?
• How much extra should I budget for repairs/fees/shipping?
I’m mainly looking for a newer body style SS, nothing under 2018 and I don’t mind doing minor fixes if the deal is worth it. Just don’t want to end up with a money pit.
Any advice, personal experiences, or things you wish you knew before buying from an auction would help a lot.
