Need advice to repair a 100 year old leg.

This dresser came from my wife's grandmother's house. She says it's over 100 years old, probably.

I'm thinking I could just wood glue and clamp it together, but I'm worried that given how high this leg sits and the horizontal torque that it'll be take.

I was thinking maybe I could put a metal peg/dowel in it? It then becomes a challenge on drilling a straight the hole with no flat edges to align to.

Do ya'll think wood glue would be enough or do you have advice on how to reinforce it?

I bought a used Aeron B. I sit cross legged most of the time. I cannot use this chair. I put my old Ikea Jarvefjallet (605.106.40) chair back and immediately felt better. I was replacing it because the have become unusable.

I sat in an Embody when I was there. It was fine, but I run very hot and the cooling of the Aeron was why I selected it.

I didn't realize how bad this would feel until I sat at my desk immediately crossed my legs and started to work. It's possible I could get used to the Aeron. I do love the fold-in arm rests. The fold-in arm rests are why I looked at it in the first place. But I just cannot sit on a mesh bottom. The weight is just too uneven and my ankles are against the plastic.

Is there a good chair with in-ward adjustable arm rests, mesh back, and a more solid bottom?

I'm 6", about 200lb. I'm on the high end of B size. Maybe I should have gotten a C.

▲ 2 r/Hue

I believe this is a 2nd generation bulb. I have a few of them. Trying to get them off the Hue hub and on to ZigBee home assistant.

I have tried the 8on/2off cycle for more than a minute a few times (staring at a stop watch and flipping at 8 and 0). I can't get them to factory reset. Everything I google seems to be fore newer generations with Bluetooth. Pretty sure this doesn't have that.

Is this possible? Do I need to find my old hub? What am I missing here?
