Slightly bizarre arrival at Lisbon

Arrived in Lisbon yesterday morning as a non EU PP holder (and non UK).
Walking down the very stark corridors towards Customs there was a series of 5 terminals with a sign ‘for EU pp holders’. Most walked past it (as the flight has come from Instanbul), but I decided as a NZ op holder to give it a go, as at worse it could only reject my wife and I.
To my surprise it accepted me when though i honestly said i hadn’t filled out some form. Took my photo and fingerprints and then said to proceed through the e-gate.
At the Customs queuing that’s were it got really strange. EU pp holders went through a very short queue whilst everyone else were herded like sheep into a corralling pen. Three airport marshalls told me to queue. In this area this be at least an hour maybe more.
To the right there was a series of e gates. These were almost unused. In NZ we gave almost 80% usage rate of e gates.
So i broke out of the disney queue. told my wife at worst it can only reject me..and viola! we were through. Literally 5 mins out.
If you are NZ, Australian. UK anywhere else with a chipped PP you will make it!
There is NO SIGNAGE saying this. Beat the queue and take the e gates - just make sure you preload at those kiosks at arrival. You can thank me later lol

found a surprisingly good travel sling for my camera, from a brand I don’t often look at. It’s now my favourite.

Almost by accident I saw the Tenba 12L solstice V2 sling at my camera shop. It was almost hidden behind the super hype brands of PD, Wandrd, Nomatic and Billingham.
First the shape is awesome, it’s tubular in shape. It seems smaller than my Wandrd 6L rogue. It hugs your body well. It comes with a external side pocket that easily takes a water bottle or tripod, and two straps that can fit on the front
It’s a sling but has an optional extra strap for chest stability if you’re on a bike or hiking. It’s very water resistant- close to water proof and comes with a rain cover (most of these straps and covers are optional extras in other brands).
it has a pocket dedicated to a airtag and also rfid to stop scammers.
Its strap is a generous length, something Nomatic is not.
It carries my Leica M11-P and three lenses plus visoflex.
It would easily take a Fuji XT with a 50-140 attached.
The only thing it can’t fit is an ipad. But this isn’t a deal breaker for me.
And the colour is awesome. Congrats to Tenba for putting this together.

Never heard of Craig Semetko before my leica store was selling this. He shoots with a M10-P and a 35 summilux (sometimes a 50)

Inspirational. He was saying in an interview that no one seems to mind a rangefinder on the streets.

Fantastic photographer
