Justin says he left one thing for us to find. I was totally in on QR or NFC tag idea but then I remember he said he modified something that was already there. Plus failure could happen in multiple ways with said tags. So now I’m leaning towards carving or something similar. Thoughts?

So adding to puzzles post, let’s say you find a checkpoint that you can see but it’s not a QR code. You take a picture of it then what? We know layer V is involved but how exactly and where do we plug said password in?
Why do people think 22 is a hint? I recall 27 for sure, but using the search feature 22 keeps popping up.
You know, I was thinking. Justin’s prized oak shilling was made of silver. I’ve always thought it was some kind of hint. Maybe the hint is silver, not the date as I use to suspect.

Recently I’ve been leaning towards double arcs maybe being the odd 4 sqiggle line thing on the back of his car. I mean it’s technically 4 arches but idk.
So as a fisherman my whole life, I don’t think I’ve ever said cast your pole. I’ve said, cast your line, or simply to cast. So I was thinking, maybe it’s not a fishing rod. Maybe it’s a tent pole? However I’m not sure why you would cast such a thing and search results don’t know either. Thoughts?
I’ve been refining my solve the last two weeks or so. I recalled saying that the poem is not meant to convey great distances. Now I have my solve including the whole poem down to single miles. Maybe I have been thinking in too large a scale the entire time?
Does anyone remember his quote? I can’t find it using many different methods but I do recall saying him in the book the location is described or something like that. I’m getting back to basics here and diving into the book for the third time. Thanks!

I noticed in the book he never says fenns treasure. He calls it a cache. Even though fenn himself called it a treasure. Hmmmm
Does anyone else think Justin snuck his own setup questions into it? Some of them were very strange. Like favorite color. Also could you drive a Prius to the location? Why a Prius? I can think of so many other cars that are more common and sit lower.
Does cheese have anything to do with this hunt? Working hard on getting info together for my final BOTG in August. I think cheese might be a clue but I can’t put anything together on it. I thought maybe he liked the Cheesecake Factory but I can’t find the quote so maybe I’m misremembering.
Found this and others from the set in my last binder that I knew I had but couldn’t find. The only flaw I can find is in the back upper left the white dot from where the card was cut. There is also maybe some super small scratches on the holo? Either way check it out!
I’m debating whether to have this card graded. The only flaws I can see are the upper back left looks to have a white dot in the corner where the card is cut. And the front holo is excellent but maybe a small scratch or two I can’t really tell. Figured you guys would like it though. Ignore the upper back right corner, it’s fine but the lighting made it look weird. So send her to PSA or nah?
I didn’t want to hijack the other posters thread about a URL checkpoint. However I like the idea and have had an experience of my own that want to share more about because at this point I’ve exhausted BOTG searching in said areas with my small team. And yes I know I talked about this last month but rock debris said he needed more info and at the time I was not ready to divulge.
Let’s say you are BOTG and get to stanza 3. You are searching said area and come across a QR code. This URL leads to a website that is public, that in the said URL ends with a name that is extremely relevant to this hunt. In the web page itself, one of the first things you read is about double arcs and that portion, and that portion only is in bold! The same web page also takes you to other locations (ticket) near by which I’ve extensively searched and scanned with my team. We have come up with nothing. I will reveal as much as I can now that I’ve searched hard but reserve the right to be a little vague.
And I took your advice Randy, I reached out to Justin tonight! Hopefully I’ll hear something back but I doubt it.
Let’s say you are BOTG and you find a pickaxe. Odd thing is it’s old but has some blue duct tape on it. Would you be excited?
