How do you find a girlfriend as a teenager?

I (15) recently realised I'm a lesbian and was wondering how any of you find other queer girls to date? Is it reasonable to look to date a girl at my age or should I just expect to start dating at university?

UK parliament petition for equal access to fertility treatment for same-sex couples

I found this petition and was shocked to learn that same-sex couples have to pay thousands of pounds to have their own biological children when straight couples can have them for free. Please sign this petition as it is important but has hardly any signatures.
