Im doing 15min of cleaning/organizing a day until the end of the month.

Ive done a flash cleaning before someone comes home, ive done marathon cleaning once in a blue moon but it doesnt last more than a week. The house is in constant chaos to the point if a friend is dropping me off or picking me up and says they need to go to the bathroom i say sorry the house is a mess and i cant let you in.

The thought of takling the whole kitchen can be overlwheming to the point i wont do it for weeks, months.

Yesterday i started 15min a day, thats something i can do, i wont finish and i wont see results in the first few days but im gonna check a little box on a piece of paper when im done. its short enough time i can always find 15min in my day.

This is my invitation for you to do 15min today, maybe do 15min tomorrow too. Comment if you end up doing it!

Rough couple weeks without stephen Quinn or Matt Galloway

Not even my girl Amy Bell is on to cover for stephen. Mornings have lost their charm, just roughing it with ICI musique I guess

Unhappy with current Mayor? but dont know much how to make a change? Hooligans Townhall!!

Hi Are you tired about the lack of community in the city? Do you want to learn more on who and why are certain decisions made in the city?

i just heard on CJFS SFU co-op radio about a community event where people come together to discuss civic matters, the upcomming elections as well as hear candidates speak. And some music!! It sounded pretty grass roots and community and action oriented.

Tix are pay what you can!

Where: lanalou's restauran on powel and gore

When: friday july 24 8pm

How much: Pay what you can!

This would be my first time attending, dont know much about who is running the event but the guy on the radio seemed pretty invested in this cause.

Thunking of starting a landscaping company

Hi, hoping this fits this sub as every market is very specific to each city.

ive been in the landscape industry(maintenance) for 5 years or so work in a big company so havent got a lot of chances to actually learn the admin sode of things only drive the truck to sits and supervise another labourer.

Im thinking on starting my own company but have no idea on how to go about it.

I was thinking maybe working for a smaller company with an owner who is open to train me on quotes and client management.

Has anyone here started a landscape company?

what is some advise you would have liked to have when starting?

How much do you charge or how do you calculate your quotes?

How much equipment should i buy? Or how small should i start? At the moment i have very limited access to equipment storage.

Where can i learn about my obligations as a small business , book keeping, tax. Regulations how to get started when to go official as a company, etc?
