I love Leaf, I’ve pulled everything from this 1/1 to a Macchio/Estevez/C. Thomas Howell triple auto. If it’s for the PC, the weirder the better.

I found the GPK 40th launch to be equal parts fun and frustrating. I was only able to grab 2 boxes at a decent price, while the price of the other 3 made me feel like a gamblin’ man. This was my best pull and as a a fan of potassium and gold foil, one with which I’ll never part, especially since Fanatics seems to think we only want on demand releases. Here’s to hoping GPK Universe releases before 2030!

I found this mis-listed online and got it for a song (under $50 with shipping). Some cursory sleuthing later, it appears that it’s a legit item given to some Nabisco employees back in 2000. It’s a shame about a couple of the signatures being faded but I feel like I need to spend a good year complaint-free after spending all of my luck on this. Do there happen to be any ex-Nabisco employees in this subreddit that can shed some more light on this? I’ve also seen some reports that you could send in UPCs for autographs but I haven’t seen the actual print promotion.

I found this while sorting through my childhood collection. I saw 18 year old A Rod’s Appleton Foxes take on my local South Bend Silver Hawks (the White Sox farm team at the time) on a chilly April night as a 16-year old hardball fanatic who thought having a local minor league park was the coolest thing in the world. He signed 3 cards for me while chatting up all of the kids who came over to see why the hell I was so excited to meet a member of the opposition. I gave one to my friend who got me the ticket, sold one on eBay many moons ago, but will never part with this one. And I’ll always have a soft spot for A Rod no matter how polarizing he is.

Have you had any encounters with baseball legends before their first call-up?
