I don't get it, how exactly are Legion lands governed in Arizona?

From what I've read and seen from years of playing Fallout, the Legion feels like a large nomadic confederation of Soldiers that move together as a large army. All who were subjugated by the Legions were absorbed by them and become their soldiers.

Which begs the question of how exactly Legion lands are supposed to look like?

Are there still tribals living in those lands? What exactly is the distinction of normal people who are NOT soldiers in those towns and villages? I've only ever seen that one trader in the hill fort but it implies hes not a part of the legion specifically.

Cause in my head-canon I always had the idea that legion lands are summarized as

"they [Romans] make a desert and call it peace"

How effective were face mask as armor? Were they mostly decorative rather than functional? Is that why you don't see or read much of these facemask?

As an Intern, are there ways you can tell if you might be axed?

I work in this Aerospace company, practically the company of my dreams back in Oct while im finishing my masters. I'm almost a year in as a paid intern and the director said he would love to have me when i finished. I felt like im learning quickly and providing alit of help and value in projects. Im even wirking on creati g a dashboard for one of their web networks.

but suddenly my director of engineering, who always said im doing a good job, suddenly got 2 weeks vacation and now my direct manager is being replaced by someone else while he becomes a regular engineer.

When I heard the news, my 1 on 1s with my manager were shorter now and when I asked the next step of my project, he said he'll get back to me on that... I still have 1 on 1s with the director but he won't get back to me u til next week when he returns

Is this a bad sign? Should I be worried?

I guess it dosent help that we've been hiring like crazy and the team grew almost double in size in only 7 months...

I need help looking for a very old Space Marine 1 Teaser trailer/animation?

I don't know if I'm experiencing somekind of Mandella Effect, but as a kid, I was super stoked about the first Space Marines game. Even before the trailer came out, I vividly remember a very short animation of what I assumed to be Titus walking down a dimly lit hallway. The title I vividly remember was "Teaser"

All that can be heard for a few seconds what his heavy footsteps before A traitor Space Marine who was skulking in a doorway pulled out a pistol and aimed it at his head. Titus froze and the traitor tried to fire, but I think it didn't fire or was jammed?

Than Titus smacked the pistol off his hand and headbutt him. Then, he gave him a two-piece with his fist, making the traitor dazed and slumped against a wall.

The camera then panned behind Titus where the pistol was thrown. Titus walked over to the pistol and picked it up and walked to the traitor, the camera locked in that position. Onimous industrial sounds of fans or metal vents became louder as Titus pulled the pistol to the traitors face. In the very last second, the traitor looked up from his slumped position against the wall and the scene cuts.

I swear I remember this! It was too vivib. Does anyone know if you ever saw this animation?

Please and thank you!

Before Gears of War 4 was released, there were debunked rumors that the plot involved the COG going to space to colonize new planets since Sera was dying. I kinda wished they went that route.

I tried so hard to get into Gears 4 and 5 but I just didnt like the whole Hive thing. They followed the same problems which plagued the Halo series. The games overarching story ended in the 3rd game for both series. To bring back basically the same enemy again but with a slight difference ruined the ending and point of the third game.

They should've went with how God of War tried to do. A fresh start with a new setting.

Imagine if the COG were to find a habitable world. New setting, new possible enemies, new themes on War and exploitation.

Like seriously how can they even end the plot of Gears 6? Somehow beat the Hove and now we are at peace, for realz this time!

Sorry had to get this off my chest. I love Gears to death but the sequels were just so meh. What's even the point? It's the same setting all over again basically.

EDIT: I'm not even talking about space battles and space ships. Just a new planet setting which can add new unique enemies.

What kind of armor is this Late Roman Comitatenses re-enactor supposed to be wearing?

I'm assuming it isn't a 1-on-1 re-enactment seeing as I never seen this type of armor before. I'm assuming its supposed to be Lamellar?

Nolan told his "pupils" to look for food and shelter and to come back in the morning for combat. Does this imply that these kids basically live like urchins? Surviving on the outskirts or alleys? In a cardboard box for all we know eating rats or stealing?

It was never implied that any children of vultrimites even live with their family. And I've only seen Nolan have a place to sleep only after his 18th birthday and he joined the military.

Reminds me of the Agoge in sparta.

How would that even work anyways? Do the kids start stealing from adult vultrimite shops or stores for food. Do they rummage through trash? Do the adults kill them if they got caught? Sorry I was high and i spent like 2 hours thinking about these kids.
