Dev Update] Meet CrowLLM: A high- speed, zero-log API for RPers (Plus how to get free daily credits

Hey everyone, I’m the developer behind CrowLLM.com, and I’ve spent the last few months building an API specifically with the roleplay community in mind. I know how frustrating it is to deal with corporate filters, expensive tokens, and the constant worry that your private stories are being logged for training. I wanted to introduce CrowLLM to the community and explain how we’re doing things differently to support the SillyTavern, Janitor, and Agnai users.

Why I built CrowLLM

The goal was simple: create an OpenAI-compatible API that is fast, affordable, and—most importantly—completely uncensored. Whether you are into dark fantasy, complex slow-burns, or niche ERP, the AI should be a tool for your creativity, not a moral gatekeeper.

The "Zero-Log" Privacy Promise

For roleplayers, privacy isn't optional. Here is how we handle your data:

  • No Prompt Logging: We do not log your prompts or completions. Your stories stay between you and the model.
  • No Training: We never use your data to train or fine-tune models.
  • Encryption: All requests are handled via secure SSL to ensure your character cards and lorebooks are protected in transit.

The "Daily Dollar" – How to RP for Free

Sign Up Bonus: 10$

I want people to actually use the service without worrying about their bank account. We have a daily credit system that essentially lets you use premium models for free.

  • The Deal: You can claim $1 in API credits every 24 hours via our Discord.
  • The Value: Since we optimize our routing for low costs, $1 can go incredibly far. Depending on the model, that’s often enough for hundreds of high-context messages. If you claim it daily, you can sustain a full-time RP hobby without ever paying a cent.

Technical Features for Power Users

  • OpenAI Compatibility: Works out of the box with SillyTavern, Agnai, and any frontend that supports custom OpenAI endpoints.
  • High Context Support: We support large context windows so your characters don’t lose the plot during long adventures.
  • Stability & Speed: We use a distributed infrastructure to ensure that even during peak hours, your generation speeds remain snappy.
  • Unfiltered Access: We provide access to the best open-weights models (like Llama 3, Command R, and Mistral variants) without any "as an AI language model" lecture.

We now use the a new type of api infrastructure, an official open-source GitHub repository. It's a completely open-source infrastructure that absolutely does not allow prompt logging!

A Request for Feedback

As the developer, I’m constantly looking to improve. I want CrowLLM to be the go-to home for the RP community. If there’s a specific model you want to see hosted, or a feature you think SillyTavern users need, let me know. You can check us out at CrowLLM.com or join our Discord to grab your first $1 credit. I’ll be hanging out in the comments to answer any questions about privacy, model selection, or setup!
