Military benefits

Hello so I’m looking to book with breeze it’s my first time flying with them and I’m about to be done with my school for the army and wanted to take some leave to go home for a bit before getting to my station. I just wanted to know if breeze has any military benefits like free checked bags and any military discounts. I’ve seen they don’t even have customer service number so I just want to know if there’s a section before buying your tickets where they ask if you’re military or do I ask about my bags at the airport? Thanks!

PTDY not a thing anymore?

Hey everyone so i today i had a brief on what our out processing will look like when we’re done with our AIT. For us active duty obviously they gave us the GOV or pov route and how we gotta go to transportation to move our stuff blah blah. But something that caught my eye was apparently the DS giving the class said that PTDY isn’t a thing anymore. That they won’t even request it at all because it will be denied. Is this true?? I really can’t take leave to find a place? What if the waitlist is pretty long for on base housing. Yes by the time I’m done with AIT I’ll have a good amount of leave days accumulated but from what I knew PTDY was a way you could get free leave days and even see my family

First PCS should I move my stuff or let the army do it?

So yes I know this question has been asked a ton but what do you guys truly believe is my best option. Last I heard from my DS, I’m going to fort sill. My wife is currently back home in LA and now we have to move to Oklahoma. I’ve had many DS back in basic and people I’ve seen on Reddit that say if you move your stuff on your own, you can make so much money. I had a DS tell me he made 14k when he PCS’ed one time. Obviously I wouldn’t mind making some extra money so that looks very enticing to me and my wife. But at the same time we’re a young couple, she and I lived in a small “shed” behind her parents home. We don’t have that much furniture, hell I don’t think we can even fill up half of a U Haul. We’d only bring our clothes maybe her vanity, and a couple more things but it’s truly not a lot. So would it even be worth it? Would we even make any money? How does this process work? Like are they paying back what you spent? How does someone actually make a profit? Since it’s our first time should we just let the army move our things? To not stress out about that? Anyone who has experience in this can you please help me out

Got my first duty station

Hello everyone so I’m still really early in my AIT but somehow I got my orders and I’m being sent to fort sill. Yeah haha i know it sucks there but I just want to know what are my next steps? I still got like 2-3 months left of AIT should I start getting on the waitlist for housing? Should my wife start applying for jobs in the area? Does the army have recourses for spouses to get jobs on base? I’m just more worried about my wife because she has a pretty high car payment and used to making 20 dollars an hour in California. So now making maybe 15 bucks or less in Oklahoma scares her. We can make it work with my salary form the army but she definitely wants to work. For people with experience what is my priority list? And especially how does getting a job work for my wife? Just start applying now and tell them she can’t start till I actually leave my AIT
