Is ARF the new datejust king? I don't know but the last two ARFs I got have been very very nice. Nothing head and shoulders better than VSF but just slightly overall just a little nicer EXCEPT the crystal VSF still wins there. 6 DJs (1 belongs to the wife) 3 VSF 2 ARF 1 Clean Plus. I was admittedly a VSF stan but I can't really stand firm on that anymore. Anyone else feel like this....

Got this one back way sooner than I anticipated. Gave a local guy a shot and he did a fantastic job on the plating in my opinion.

Got a real life watch compliment today. Was at my tailor getting the sleeves on a new blazer shortened. Had to take this off while he was measuring. My tailor is an older Italian gentleman whose really cool and a watch guy. He always has on his vintage gold rolex for the 9 years I've been going to him. He noticed this watch and says wow that's really nice may I see it. I said sure since it was off anyway. He took it looked it over and said it's too big for me but wow that's nice. He then went on to tell me he's been wanting a new rolex and that he went to the rolex boutique near us and couldn't believe how empty it was. I go there often just to look around and it is indeed usually empty no matter the day of the week. He told me he asked the associate about getting a two tone white dial gold roman numeral 36mm datejust. Says the associate told him it would probably be a year or two to get one. He says he told the associate I might not have that long 😂. We both chuckled and said how ridiculous it is that you can't buy the watch you want right away even though it's on display. I today him just go grey market and he said he probably would. Anyway I never mentioned this was a rep and he never asked. Been going there for years and I do have 1 gen rolex but now I have 9 reps that I wear far more often.

I'm in the moding phase of my rep journey so I decided to try out a Prof Crystal as an upgrade to my VSF V2. I gotta say it was worth every penny. This thing is crystal clear. Don't know if it translates in pictures but it's a winner in my book.
