I feel stuck in Plat

I'm a solo player who mains Fuze, and I'm hard stuck in Platinum 2 and 3 with a 1.3 K/D. I'm aware I have some issues, such as inconsistent aim at times and pushing when I shouldn't.

I'm not sure if it's my legend. I play Fuze mostly because of the evo farming and being able to force people out of position with his grenades and the little bit of movement I attain after reaching blue evo with the knuckle clusters.

I envision myself as a secondary fragger; I'm not the main pusher unless I have to be.

Really, I'm just looking for suggestions. I'm tired of dying because I can't escape situations, but I also don't want to play someone who's the first to sacrifice themselves because my aim is inconsistent.

Not sure if this post makes sense, pretty much a frustration rant. However, any help would-be appreciated.

What Should I Know for NA&ME?

I plan on studying marine engineering and coming out of college as a 3/E along with other certifications. My end goal is to be a shipyard or port engineer and pair my love for building ships with repairing them and overall making them efficient.

A couple of questions though regarding the field before I solidify myself in it:

  1. How's the pay?

  2. Was it worth it?

  3. Is it more CAD or hands-on?

  4. How long did it take you to work up to your rank?

  5. Do you sail or stay in port?

Quadcopter Death Wobble

I lined the bottom with weights because 454S said weights were supposed to help. All motors are at 20 RPS. In the current clip, my gyro sensitivity is at 50%.

Below, I'll attach a picture of the logic and the drone in the workbench.

My Custom Azimuth Thruster Steering System

Still a bit sensitive, rough, and reactive, but it works for the most part.

Fuel Line Issue

I'm not sure what is wrong with the fuel line. I figure a fresh set of eyes looking at it may find something I haven't. I'm using the ZE Mod. Engine Controller and have checked multiple times that everything is wired correctly.

It's an inline 4 5x5; the cylinders are correctly placed because it runs with infinite fuel.

The picture above displays where the line is located because the whole engine is enclosed. Below, I've attached the link to my build if anyone could take a look. You will have to enable infinite electricity.

Update on PD Controller

Alright, so I looked over my previous PD controller and decided to simplify it into this to make it easier for me to understand and identify issues.

The only issue now is that there seems to be an offset of about .15, and I'm not sure where it's stemming from.

I know I could always just offset the tilt by .15, but I see that action as just putting a band-aid on a bullet hole.

Kp = Coefficient for proportional gain

Kd = Coefficient for derivative gain

If you're new to this, I'm using propellers to stabilize my ship so I can load or unload vehicles or crates onto it without it flipping. That's why at the end one side is inverted.

What Should I Buy into Next?

I'm in high school and have been slowly investing in stocks since January (when I turned 18). I've put in about $40 and so far have made about $20-21 profit in individual companies such as Ford, GM, CF Industries, and a nuclear company called Nucor.

Recently, I've been wanting to invest more, so my main question is: what should I invest in?

Also, what's the difference between index funds and ETFs? I hear they're smart investments, but I'm not sure what they are.

Additionally, I use Robinhood, if that's relevant.

Advice to Smoothen Out Process

I'm currently attempting to create an active stabilization system using propellers that I'll be able to activate when things are being loaded or unloaded onto my ship. However, I can't figure out how to smooth out the process. The further the weighted object gets, and the longer it stays in that position, the platform begins to sway with an increasing amount of violence.

I'm using multipliers for the x factor and z factor. So far, I've concluded that 10,000 is too little for x and 25,000 is too little for y. Whilst on the other hand, 11,000 is too big for x and 26,000 to big for y.

I can't add a video and my logic in the same post, so I'll post the microcontroller down below

Update On SAR/ Research Vessel

Since school is out, I have all day to waste playing Stormworks. I decided to have the heli pad split in half so that crates or vehicles can be dropped onto the ship and delivered into the garage slots.

SAR/Research Vessel

Started designing a new SAR/research ship that'll have the following features: a drone pad on the second deck near the helm, near the rear, a heli pad, and an RIV launch along the stern. A garage store for vehicles and a moonpool to launch the emergency subs or exploration vehicle, along with a couple of small cranes for weather buoys, etc.

Hopefully, I don't screw up the interior so it becomes another abandoned WIP.

New Ship Design

New engine design I'm testing. I learned it from WhackAL on YouTube; however, I've repurposed some things. Using torque connectors and tracks, I'm able to alternate between a generator path and the power to the propellers.

The second slide is the ship it's currently within.

A little concerned with my hull possibly being too V-shaped and not enough U, but I also haven't added a lot of weight yet, which would help.
