I want them to build the gears from the inside (whats marked priority), outwards. Their beaver brains don't seem to think past the idea of build build build, so they build one of the outside gears first, cutting off access to the inner gears that need to be built first.

Obviously you can use the priority and pause options, but this is slightly annoying to do. I also could build a second platform beside it, but am interested if its possible to do in a 1 tile wide line as shown. Any solutions?

As you can see Lionspire is not finished, and still remains that way to this day as it made me quit Minecraft. Definitely had potential but it simply had too many angles for me to bother with.
