A little bit of a weird request on my end here but I am hoping some other music lovers of a particular genre can help me out.

I am looking for potentially your best “Dad pop rock album(s)”. I’m a 38 year old Dad who is a recovering emo addict who loves music but wants to dive deeper into this subgenre this summer due to a couple of road trips coming up. Here are some recent albums that I feel hit this mark that I honestly had no clue about:

-“Breakfast in America” by Supertramp
-“Wildflowers” by Tom Petty
-“Stranger in Town” by Bob Seger

While this is a very short list I do think I’m specifically looking for albums from the 70s or 80s, although I do understand that “Wildflowers” is outside of those parameters but does meet the criteria I am looking for.
