The Bin Laden statement today

This may be something already discussed, but i can't find anything.

I was really surprised today when Moskowitz talked about multiple advanced technology programs that have come out of Area 51, including one that came out of area 51" when we killed Osama bin laden with an advanced technology helicopter that congress never funded" (sorry the quote is slightly off)

According to the official public mission brief, 2 dozen navy seals and special operations personnel arrived at the compound via two modified, stealth-equipped Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters that had been launched from a base near Jalalabad, Afghanistan.

One of the stealth helicopters had a semi-crash hard landing and was blown up at the site before the soldiers left.

Bin laden's body was taken to a US air craft carrier and buried at sea. I remember at the time there was some issue with the fact that there was no physical body brought back.

I guess my question is: Did we already know that the mission included some sort of black tech out of area 51? Could the classified tech be related to the fact that no body was returned?

(I know the official story about the body was so there wouldn't be a place for pilgrimages)

I'd love some quick opinions

I've been treated for hashimotos for over 10 years with limited success. A couple of years ago, an endo kept me on 200mcg of levi but also added 15mg of liothyronine.

The highest my tsh ever got was 26, and they were really not happy, hence the T3.

During that entire time period, I was relatively asymptomatic and had begun to think i was subclinical since my T4 and T3 were always in range. But 3 different endos over a ten year period said there was no scenario where they would simply ignore my tsh levels even if the other numbers were okay.

Anyway, after T3 was added 2 years (ish) ago, the numbers calmed down and that was that.

Six months ago, I started gaining weight. Here and there. Two or three pounds a month. My first thought was that i was retaining gelato and i should probably quit having dessert at 10pm 😄

I started to notice some hair shedding, but doctors always say "you're not losing as much as you think you are." And I didn't have any bald spots, so I shrugged it off.

A little less than 2 months ago, my Dad died unexpectedly. My husband and I lived with him to help the past 5 years, and he was a huge part of my daily life.

For about a week afterward, I know I was not faithful with my meds. I took them, but i was sleeping so much I'm sure I wasn't paying enough attention.

My hair really started falling out and i gained even more weight (probably a total of around 15 pounds). I was exhausted all the time. Couldn't use the restroom, but that's something i struggle with on and off, so it's not new.

Everyone: It's grief, give yourself some time (which is actually good advice, I know)

Last week I went to my regular doctors appt and they drew labs. Here are the pertinent results:

TSH: 57.6 (??)

T4 : 0.9 (actually still in normal range since 0.8 is the low end)

D3: 27 (a little low, they said 30 is normal)

Folate: 6.3 (normal)

Everything else was pretty normal (cbc and metabolic panel)

Doc said my face and eyes are puffy. My legs are a little swollen (with water). Sodium level is normal.

For the first time in my life, my cholesterol was elevated (not extreme, but above normal) and my blood pressure was 147/100. I have never had high bp except when i was pregnant.

I have to take my bp every day for 2 weeks, and it has been high every day, which sucks, but i don't know if it's related

My endocrinologist is backed up and can't get me in until August 13th. I just spoke with the nurse at my primary care and she said that's not good enough. She's going to call them. If they can't get me in sooner i have to find another one. She said the numbers are really not good for me (she wasn't freaking out, but she impressed on me not to blow it off)

Thank you for reading all that :) Here are my questions:

  1. I know grief messes us up physiologically. Has anyone had a jump like this? I keep thinking my symptoms started a couple of months before, but nothing outrageous.

  2. In case it matters, I do have 2 growths on my thyroid that were biopsied at the beginning of 2024. They were going to remove my thyroid, but genetic testing said they were 99% sure it was not cancer.

  3. Would one week of messing up the timing of my meds a couple of months ago cause the jump?

  4. Has anyone ever had a sudden jump and had any sort of medical "intervention" to rapidly bring their numbers down?

** I know to listen to my medical providers. I'm not looking for reasons to ignore them. But i don't know anyone with hashimotos that i can talk to (my mom had it but hers was well controlled and she passed a year and a half ago).

I'd just love to hear some real life experiences or advice if anyone has it.

Thank you 🩵

New footage of blue orb on AA

I was just watching the Angry Astronaut channel and he is talking about footage of a bright blue orb light.

It starts on the ground, lifts up, and then instantly accelerates to the left. I'm attaching a short clip so if anyone has already seen it, they'll know what I'm talking about.

I'd love to hear what you guys think.
