At 31, I feel like the rose-coloured adulthood glasses I once wore have officially been slapped off my face by a toddler, picked up by the puppy, and left in pieces between my Monstera and fern...
Which feels about right.
Because somewhere between the kids, the plants, the bills, the surprises, the questions I can't answer about faith and god and the parts of life I was definitely not prepared for...
I'm starting to realize that adulthood isn't the place where you finally have everything figured out.
It's just the place where you become responsible for figuring it out while everything keeps freaking happening, And honestly?
I'm not sure whether that's terrifying or hilarious yet.
Probably both.
Anyways, that's all I got for right now ... just some noon realizations while my toddler is at daycare ... I'm gonna go eat his left over toast before my bonus kids get here.
I'm sure l'll overshare some more ...eventually.
Until then.... 'Gracias por venir a la casa de Azul..!
