Date night for Long distance relationship

Hey all! My gf lives in Phoenix (Glendale) and I’m coming in this next weekend! She thinks I’m coming a bit later in the evening but will be landing earlier to surprise her. I already have an itinerary for Saturday and Sunday but would love to do something unique on Friday night.

I saw that first Friday is happening on Roosevelt. I’m limited physically so hiking, etc is out of the question until I recover. She loves jazz (our first date was supposed to be to the Nash when we first met), art, video games. I was looking into things like glass blowing, paint and sip, but those don’t seem available.

Wondering if you all have any local recs for me that I’m not seeing!

TIA!

Looking for Advice

Hey all! I came across this sub when looking at using an offer I have to get a raise at my current job. I'm staff level engineer and J1 has gotten incredibly boring since we moved to agentic dev. So I started looking for another job. Both are FT, W-2 positions. The new position is pretty cool, great pay, benefits, etc. And J1 I can easily phone in most of the time since we've become ticket takers. But I'm worried about getting caught. I tried grepping the sub but I figured I'd just ask straight up. Is this illegal? How do I avoid getting caught? What about LinkedIn stuff?

EDIT: I should note that J2 knows I have a current job. So I'm not sure how to navigate this.

TIA!
