Does beating the game on easy unlock Hard mode?
I'm about 1 hour into the game on easy and hoping to do my new game plus playthrough on hard. I'm seeing a lot of info online saying you need to beat it on standard to unlock hard. Do I need to restart my run on standard?

My friend was born in Australia in 1980 to a British born mother and a British father. Her mother has spent over 3 years in the UK before my friend was born. Her parents were not married at the time they had my friend and her father is also not on her birth certificate. Both her grandparents are also British and were born in the UK. My friend currently has right of abode but she wants to become a citizen. Her mom also died years ago if that matters. Her father is still alive but they haven't talked in years. Also her biological siblings who are younger than her are British citizens. So does my friend have a claim to British citizenship due to historical gender discrimination?
