Ccure reader issue
I have a reader that controls a gate, we have it tied to an event that opens the gate from 7 to 7. The reader is only picking up reads while the event is not active, I can’t recall if I have ever seen that before. But that’s not the main issue, this reader location has been giving me issues where the reader was just start giving misreads with known good cards then will just stop reading cards period. If you disconnect and reconnect the reader it will start working again. I have swapped out readers and even changed reader locations on the ACM, all give the same issue. I don’t believe distance is an issue, as the reader has worked fine for the last three years (since installed) with no issue. I am wondering if this is an ACM issue or something else.
