Just did my first orbital rescue, need help with the second
So I sent up a rocket with an empty mk1 pod, empty mk1 cabin and a probe core on top. I managed to get close enough to my first target, with the help of videos and Reddit, for the kerbal to Eva the last but over (I didn't manage to get speed to 0)
Now I'm in orbit with the scientist and have 2 other kerbal out here to rescue. The first time, my orbit was higher and I had lots of space to burn retrograde and then circularize to get really close but this time my orbit is lower and much closer.
So my real question is, would it be easier to get a higher orbit and then burn down like before? Because currently the closet I can get is 300-400m but my peri gets dangerously low, it's tough to balance. So I'm not sure I'll have the space to do my maneuvers before killing my peri and falling to kerbal.
Sorry for the long read, thanks in advance and I can add more info if needed
