I am in-between buying either one of those. I currently have an s22 ultra which slowed down lots. I am looking for a new phone that I won't have to change for 2-3 years basically, but I am unsure which one is better.

The s26 ultra would be a safe pick... loved the privacy display feature but I heard it's very underwhelming.

The xiaomi 17/17 ultra I love the HyperOS dynamic island, depth effect etc. but I don't know how it will last in time. Also some people say the OS is buggy and that the phone will break fast.

I can get the 17 ultra for: 1300 euro
17 base: 860 euro
S26U: 1100 euro

please help me decide. country where i'm buying the phone from is Romania

I've had the s22 ultra for quite some time and it started to show its signs of lag. Obviously the safest option would be to go for s26 ultra, but I've recently caught eye of the HyperOS from Xiaomi.

Would a Xiaomi 15 be a viable upgrade from the s22 ultra? Or if you have any other suggestions feel free to tell me.
