I bought my switch a long time ago and bought a lot of cartridge games. Unfortunately, the card reader stopped working a long time ago (I tried fixing it myself but nothing worked) so I decided that I'll research some repair places that will switch out my reader. I was going to just use nintendos own service but I've heard a lot of stories of wiped switches and extra fees so I'm coming on here to ask.

Is it worth risking my switch? I definitely don't trust fixing it myself

Definitely a bit of a hot take but I really struggle with completely playing through the sequel game. I really love the game but I find the running back and forth and the grinding for money/materials incredibly repetitive after a few plays. I haven't even managed to get past the >!grey labyrinth !<in a playthrough before getting tired of the save.

I feel pretty bad saying this cause I might get a bit of disagreement; but I think it'd be nice to have some more customisation on the save files like increasing the amount of materials you get from nodes or even adding a creative mode to be unlocked after completing normal.
