Stuck in "Press Space"

I just bought Slime Rancher 1 and I'm trying to play the game, but It keep saying "Press Space". It shows me a Pink Slime for a second and then it keep saying "Press Space". What I need to do?

Restaurant table doodle :P

1st one : Polaricherry

They are 2 people in one which are Beige who is a shy guy and Magenta who is a mischievous girl.

2nd one : Phase Lemon

She is the mother of Polaricherry. She acts a bit strictly towards Magenta. She works in a hospital alongside Valve

Kookadoby

Ok I know this probably isn’t the best drawing because I’m very rusty but i took inspiration from a drawing a had when I saw in school the original idea the kookadoba bush would be the base while the berry is on top but well a bush isn’t very editable so scratched it out and made this its favorite sauce is hot sauce to match the rewards given by Ogden Ortiz

Largo slimes keep disappearing

I had a corral of around 10 Saber + Crystal largo slimes in the grotto. I lost a couple of them because of a tar outbreak, but I removed the tar and put the remaining slimes back in the corral (which was around 7-8 of them).

I came back to corral about 5 minutes later and I was down to only 3 slimes, I checked all around the grotto as well as in the other corrals and I can't find any of them, there were no tar slimes either. Does anyone know what could've happened to them?

thinking of making a mod!

Hii! First time posting on this reddit but I've been playing slime rancher since 2020-2021 :)

I wanted to show a little slime drawing I made, yes its mainly just a heavily edited boom slime with a pink slime mouth but I'm drowning in too many other problems to care lmao

i call it the java slime! thinking of making it faster than regular slimes and having constant wide eyes for most expressions as well as custom food and maybe largos and a gordo, it wont be the only slime ill add though!

Who is your favorite side character/NPC

This is just for fun, I was just curious on who the "fan favorite" is in terms of the npcs. I would've included more (Bea, Casey, Hobson, Gigi, The Caretaker[s]), but I'm only able to put 6 options 😭

I think my favorite is Viktor or Gigi.
