So I had put a dirt foundation here not realizing it was red and it broke because it wasn’t touching the ground, so I put one under and still whenever I try and put one in that spot, it shows green but then a second or two later it explodes and self destructs.
I tried exiting to character screen and back in and it lasted like 2 seconds longer but still self destructed.
I am on ps5 not sure if that matters.
So…. I love survival crafting games and today (May 1st) was my birthday so even though I am a trophy hunter and a bunch of the trophies are broken I was like meh hopefully they will fix them and I bought the game. Bought the expensive version with all the bells and whistles and started playing.
Havent really looked much up because in the beginning a huge part of the fun is not knowing what’s going on and figuring things out for yourself.
So I load up, am like wtf are all these skill trees outside of even being in a map or anything but find my way to launch in and start a world on easy.
Start gathering materials and build a modest wooden house, keep playing as I need level 10 it seems to open the game up more. Have like 9 chests full of materials and what not.
Build a sleeping bag and put it next to a fire pit as I
Usually do in survival games cuz it keeps you warm.
I head out into the world as time level 9 and go off on my merry way. I ding level 10 and so start to head home and run into my first bear! Exciting! Can I beat it? I don’t know what the penalty for death even is.
I keep spearing the bear fighting it out but it kills me which is totally ok, trophy for first death and trophy for killed by a bear so awesome.
I press the respawn button to see what the penalty for death is and I respawn BESIDE my bed….. IN my fire pit and immediately catch on fire! I run out the front door and into the river I built beside and go phew glad I built beside this river, better go move that campfire….
And I turn around to see my base on fire…. I’ve got no way to carry water at this point…. I didn’t research or build the fire wacker that says it puts out fires…. I’ve got no materials on me because I died and you lose everything, and all the rest of my materials are in the burning building lol
So I stood on the edge of the river and watched as my last like…. 6 hours of playing burned away.
11/10 game! Can’t wait to rebuild better than before! Really hope they fix the trophies so I can eventually get the platinum.
Won’t be placing my fire next to my bed again……
I can take a picture and upload later but my question that I haven’t found an answer to is when I create a theoretical slime farm, do I have to stand near it for 15 minutes for the next “tick” to see if it works and anything spawns?
Or when you create it and lay the slime tiles down should it then start creating them right away?
I basically made a like 5x10 chunk of purple slime covered in conveyor belts that would move the slime or their balls to the front where there are 6 cannons ready to kill them and an arm to grab the balls and move them outside the box.
I plan to make it 15x15 I just didn’t have that much purple floor slime collected.
