Hi, since I’m a newbie about Linux I think this is the right subreddit. I wanted a more complete recovery distro than Rescuezilla, with the ability to have persistent changes and storage.

MiniOS seems perfect (even though Rescuezilla doesn’t work, there’s something missing so you can’t use it without an internet connection and the knowledge on how to fix that) and I was playing around with the OS. I have to say that I like it, the website and the documentation are well made, maybe too well made for such a small project.
Since I saw some commits made by Copilot on Github about documentation writing and other improvements on the code, I was wondering about the human check on it. I just want to figure out if it’s a solid project when it comes to security and quality. Thanks!

Update: I tried cleaning with an eraser, as suggested, and now works most of the times.

I have this copy of Super Mario Land which was showing the glitched Nintendo logo on my IPS GBC. I cleaned the traces (that weren’t dirty) with IPA alcohol and now usually works.
When is inserted it works consistently, if I remove the cartridge and insert it again it could happen that doesn’t work sometimes.

I guess that the contact pins are a bit worn and there isn’t much to do, right? Thanks!

They changed every liner, keyring hole, five tools and added plus scales. This SAK was lost for months and they already sent me a brand new replacement some months ago, a few days ago it reappered!
Even though I don't like not using it I will keep it as a collectors item since now I have other models that better suit my needs and this is likely a unique piece.
