Trust me, I forget absolutely everything once I am there in the dissection hall, giving viva…like I am supposed to retain the entire anat this time, this is so scary and I am dead scared

I happened to be sitting in the same box as Abhishek’s parents during one of the IPL matches, my parents weren’t aware that they are Abhishek’s family but I was so I told them about his parents and they went and congratulated his parents for Abhishek’s amazing career

I must say, they are some of the sweetest people I’ve come across. During the break between the two innings, my dad spoke with his father, and they had a lovely conversation about cricket and the countless hours of practice and dedication required to build a bright future in the sport.

My mom also complimented Abhishek’s performances and hard work to his parents, and they were genuinely delighted to hear such kind words about him. What stood out the most was how warm and comfortable they were with my parents, it felt as though they had known each other for years

One of his cousin sisters was there as well, and the entire family came across as incredibly kind, humble, and welcoming

Anyone here from GT? Is anyone close to the management or knows someone who is? Please tell me that Shubman will be our captain next year as well and that he’ll stay with us for a long time.

Every time GT loses a match, especially after today’s final, something just feels wrong. I’m genuinely scared of the thought of our skipper leaving us. Yes, we need a stronger middle order, but this team is already incredible. Even without a solid middle order, they reached the final, which is truly commendable.

As someone from Gujarat, I honestly can’t imagine anyone else leading our team. We’ve already gone through one heartbreak with Hardik Pandya, so please, Shubman, don’t do that to us. I love seeing him in GT colours, I love watching him play in Ahmedabad, and i would like to believe that he loves Ahmedabad too :)

Nonetheless, I’m incredibly proud of this team. They gave us a fantastic season and fought till the very end.
