New arrival

This beauty just arrived from u/Orawatch
Absolutely spectacular. The depth of colour, quality of dial and weight are so far beyond my 3KF it’s insane.

It’s the RGF 5167r

Expensive but it’s worth it!

Fault or feature?

I was just setting the time on my Gold Factory GMT and realised that when moving hours and days in the third setting of the watch, the crown is turned anticlockwise to progress. In all of my other reps and gens, the crown is clockwise.

As the title says, is this something wrong with my watch or do some movements work this way?

When this Gold Factory gold zombie arrives, for the first time in 8 months, I won’t have anything on order! In a way it’s a relief and a chance to take stock. I’ve made some mistakes over 18 watches since September!

I had this watch, a V3, plated but it failed, bracelet ruined and had to be scrapped so this one will arrive stock.
Has anybody seen yellow gold GF products? How do they compare to the likes of RGF in tone?

The pictures look great- but I wonder how it is in the flesh.

I’m banned from anything new until at least July!

I just received my new RGF Pepsi Meteorite from u/Orawatch and I’m stoked.

I’ve put some photos up but my initial findings, especially given the Gold Factory Blue Dial V4 I show in the photos.

  1. Bracelet, felt great out of the box, the GF one needed a lube straight away.
  2. Bezel action, feels loose, if anything the GF bezel feels more tight and grinding. RGF closer to my gen GMT if maybe a little light.
  3. Movement, the crown action, smoothness of the RGF is far better- it feels like a VSF standard whereas the GF feels crunchy
  4. Weight- definitely a win for RGF- a clear 20g heavier

All in all, I’m stoked with it. It looks and feels the part. For the small difference in cost, I’d definitely go RGF based on what I am seeing here.
