Moving the watches on that I don’t wear, I have a daily wear chart, hence I know exact wear time. All extra links and original packaging etc is with each piece.

Will wrap in the original packaging and send Royal Mail recorded delivery at my cost.

I have a titanium YM in the air which lands on Friday and it leaves me just 1 slot remaining, although I might offload the VC as it’s never worn.

Any suggestions for the final piece?

I backed out after my TD sent it back for a DOA movement. $2.5 is a big number for something that didn’t work- it was apparently 1 of 8 so 7 of you may have working, weighted UMI’s

Should I reconsider and go back in or did I dodge a bullet?

I wanted to share in this community something that happened today.

In the photos is a DJ 31 MOP with factory diamonds, I’m afraid it’s a gen, but there is a story! Please forgive me!

This is the first Rolex I ever bought, and what a different time it was back in 2010 when AD’s welcomed you and sold watches!

I bought it for my wife on her 40th birthday, 2 months later she was diagnosed and 2 years later she passed from a very rare cancer that the genetics people still haven’t identified.

Fast forward to today, my little girl who was 8 at the time is now 22 and just graduated cum laude in genetic science, she has her ceremony on Monday and she tried on her dress, I gave her the watch and it fits like it is meant for her… brought more than a tear to the old man’s eye.

She starts her PhD in September and is determined to fight the disease that took her mother, in her own way, through science.

I have an IWC Portifino with our wedding date engraved in it which I bought after my wife passed. Rarely worn but I’ll be buried in that.

Anyway- just sentimental guff, but it’s watch related and it serves to show how these little bundles of mechanical joy can carry a meaning beyond their financial value…

This Panarai Luna Rossa is consistently the least worn in my collection. It’s rare that I choose it.

But when I wear it, it’s an absolute delight, the dial pops and it’s comfortable on my wrist being the smaller 40mm version.

Any other intermittent Panarai wearers out there?

Been waiting for a full gold zombie since November when I ordered it first. Three screw up’s later, I finally have it.

It’s lovely, great colour and bezel / crown movement.
It’s only 180g but that makes it much more wearable than a 220g watch if I’m honest.
It’s a stunning piece- would recommend!
