Does anyone else have strange skin that responds in ways that research says it shouldn't? I'm looking for other people who understand my struggle and frustration to commiserate with.

My skin gets super oily within 5 minutes after I put anything with niacinamide on it. I know research says that niacinamide balances oil production but you can literally see the oil forming on my skin. It doesn't matter if I put it on my face or my body, even my feet don't like niacinamide. My dermatologist wasn't sure why it happens and it's not like I have redness or irritation it's so odd. Now I can't use most acne or oily skin products because it's in so much stuff!

Anyone else in a similar situation?

I'm looking to get my first e-ink tablet/ereader but if I'm honest I'm a bit overwhelmed with choice. I'm hoping if I tell you all what I'm wanting to do with it you'll be able to give me some advice. I want to: read EPUBs & PDFs, use a digital planner, create custom journals/notebooks (specifically a guinea pig health log & aquarium water parameters), and read articles on websites or in Instapaper.

The tablets I'm looking at are the BOOX Note Air5 C, XPPen's Magic Note Pad, or TCL NXTPaper 11 Plus.

Please note that I'm in Australia so these are the main options I've found here. The reMarkable Paper Pro doesn't really appeal to me because it is bigger than 11 inches which I don't think will be comfortable to hold for reading especially in bed at night.

Any advice or help would be much appreciated.
