Is this the program or the fixture? I'm going crazy!!!

Hey, so I'm teching at a small community theater, running Magicq, With a bunch of different pars, few lekos, and 2 Shehds Galaxy Jets 300w.
Everything has been smooth and beautiful, but last night suddenly, in every cue where they are stationary, one of the Moving heads positions had changes it "Pan" about 20 degrees to the left. In EVERY cue.
I rebooted Magicq and it seemed to fix the problem, then this morning, it happened again. And again this evening.

Initially I thought the lights were getting hot and I wasn't turning them fully off enough, but it seems to start at the same cue each time (although it's one of the first cues so that may not mean much)

I've done nothing different than I have always done. Has anyone heard of this happening before? Do you think it's the fixture or something happened in programming the show? I would appreciate ANY advice, as they perform this thing tomorrow night and I hate to think of a light distracting from the hard work these kids did. Plus it's driving me insane.
Thank you in advance 🙏🙏🙏

Is there a setting somewhere to close the shutter while changing colors/gobos?

Hey, I'm still trying to figure out the ins and outs of Magicq, been out of the game for 16 years, catching up on the tech and such at a local theater.
These are Shehds Galaxy Jets, and I absolutely hate having to watch the gobos wheel rotate, and the cord wheel shuffling, as the cues change. Surely there's something I'm missing to help with this?

Thanks in advance 🙏

Does anyone make/sell replacement mounting brackets for these??

I inherited 4 of these Shehds 18x18 wall wash fixtures, but none of them had the feet/screw knobs and if I told you how I have them hung currently I'm pretty sure I'd get banned from this sub 😂
I haven't had luck on Google, does anyone know of manufacturers that sell fixture-specific replacement parts like this? Or does anyone have a few they want to sell me? Figured it was worth asking the internet experts before slamming my head into the wall repeatedly.
Thanks!

Anyone know what Chinese company made this generic strobe fixture? Or anything about it?

Need a strobe for a theater show I'm designing. Pulled this out of the warehouse at work, no manufacturer markings, serial numbers, model numbers.... The body shape is kind of unique for this style fixture, anyone know what the hell I'm holding?

Small community theater looking for hanging mic recommendations

Hey fellow nerds. We have a small 120 seat room (formally a church) were converting to a theater, and we are looking into hanging a stage left and stage right mic behind each hanging lamp., approx 10-12 ft above the stage, giving 3-6 feet above the actors depending on age/size.
It's been a long time since I've gone microphone shopping, would appreciate any recommendations for this type of microphone, extra credit if they're community theater budget friendly!

Thanks in advance!

Question about availability of Universes vs Hardware

TL;DR: Is there a way to get Universes beyond 1 with the MagicDMX Dongle? Building a rig for a non-profit with no budget

Longer explanation: My friend is a professional actor and theater educator for 30+ years. She recently bought an old church in a small midwest town to use as a community theater.
I was a tech director at a small theater.....17 years ago.....and needless to say a LOT has changed in lighting and I'm playing catch-up.

She has little to no budget, is a registered Non-profit, so I have been building her a lighting rig out of mostly what fixtures I've had in storage and in the warehouse and work, and I'll be honest, it's beautiful for what it is. But some of the wall washes and other odd fixtures I've given her can be channel-hogs. I bought her the magicdmx and an old pc as buying a light console was absolutely out of the question financially. I would love to be able to get the full functionality of these lights so that she can get the attention of the community she's been giving so much of herself to for so long and actually get some funding going forward, but from what I can tell the only way to open up additional Universes is with more expensive hardware. Is that correct or am I missing something that could help?

I appreciate the responses, thanks in advance, all!

I am an amateur Theater tech, returning to the industry after 15 years and learning exactly how much has changed.

I'm setting up a local community theater, and they have 2 300w Beam moving heads, 17 channel fixtures.

During patching and addressing in MagicQ, I have the lights patched, they respond when I test pan and test tilt in the program, but I can't get them to light up. At all.

I have the correct profile, I have them addressed correctly, I believe. They are at the end of the dmx line after all of the par fixtures, I can't figure out how to make them actually light up and it's driving me crazy. Any help is deeply appreciated 🙏
