Could we stop the gender wars?

I keep seeing posts bringing up a negative attitude in one gender, which are followed by comments making generalizations about the group.e.g. broke girls, broke men, men, women.

I see a lot of pain as people share their experiences, and hating each other will only make things worse.

Could we just share our experiences without claiming that it describes how all people of that group are?

Also, could we uphold decency and respect for each other, because it might offer us the chance to learn from each other?

I wish the moderators would block such incendiary posts.

What makes a Real Man?

‘My idea of masculinity growing up is a man who was in control of himself, who wasn’t mean, wasn’t pushing people around, who was decent, who treated women well.’ -Robert Greene.

There seems to be a disconnect between this and what the general world thinks is true masculinity.

For instance, male culture celebrates the number of women a man has slept with.

What do you think a real man is, and why?
