belt thickness / width

does anyone know how thick / wide these ss26 belts are? it doesn't say on the website and I'd like to know before seriously considering one.

genuine question

this is probably going to sound jealous or petty, but i'm genuinely curious whether other people ever feel this way.

sometimes i get frustrated thinking about how celebrity culture rewards conventional attractiveness and branding far more than actual skill or artistry. there are idols who make millions, attend the most exclusive events, and get incredible opportunities despite not seeming especially talented outside of a heavily managed image.

i know "life is unfair" is the obvious answer and this might sound childish, but it feels especially strange right now when so many people are struggling financially and socially. i was thinking about this after seeing clips from jennie's chanel afterparty performance where she didn't sing a word live, the "dancing" was honestly embarrassing, etc. kazuha and wonhee being there also made me think about how quickly people can become huge celebrities even when their actual skills are still heavily debated.

and before anyone says it: yes, i'm aware this probably comes off jealous, and maybe part of it is. i'm not saying these people never work hard or that i deserve those opportunities instead. i also think kazuha clearly is talented as a dancer because ballet is incredibly demanding.

i think i'm more frustrated by how these great opportunities often seem disconnected from merit. do you ever feel that way, or am i just being bitter?
