Is it solid or am I tripping?
First time running my TRS setup this week, will go with a friend this first go around to help make sure everything goes smoothly.
I feel like I am pretty well prepared for any self rescue that may need to be done - am I overprepared? I feel like I could at maybe do away with the extra prusik.
I will be running this on a dual strand setup, a lot of the climbs in my area could be described as “really tall boulders”. Ascenders will be run on both strands for the way up, with one strand becoming descent strand if needed.
I want to get a supermoto so I can run some drills in parking lots, ride it at the local kart track, etc. I used to own a Honda CRF150R with slicks that was great, but I live in a city apartment now and only have space for one bike, and no easy access to a trailer.
The goal is to be able to (legally) transport the bike to a large empty lot, the kart track, wherever, ride it for the day and build skills, and then take it back home. I don’t care if it’s uncomfortable.
I own a track only SV, but given the expense of trackdays and limited access I have to my trailer (it is stored 1.5hr away) it makes it hard to go and run the bike every weekend.
