Looking to grab this for my first PC.

Was looking into getting my buddies old Gaming PC $550/$600 cash w/o monitor is this thing worth it at all ? I’m completely new to PCs and don’t know much about them. Been a console worrier my whole life…. All help is welcomed and appreciated. -thanks
