What's people opinion on this bike? The kink Drifter 26in.
Also what do you all think about the color, I kinda dig it.

Looking for the longest steer tube so I can add some more extra spacers to current set up. Not really familiar with offset
Fit 22", S&M, Primo, and Fly parts sprinkled in. Trying to put together something fun to ride as a 40yr old, oldhead. Should be fun!
It's been 30 years since I bought bike parts and need help. I want to ride with my 5yo. There seems to be a small abundance of quality used BMX bikes and parts for cheap around my area and I need to know what to look for. NOTE: I gained a lot of weight since then(315 lbs) and will definitely need HD wheels, if not more. All recommendations are extremely appreciated. THANK YOU!
If I remember correctly, my old bike was a black Haro Group-1 frame w/ Standard 6pc handlebars, purple DK neck, Odyssey Triple-trap pedals, and a bunch of parts from my previous bike, a Diamondback Viper. I rode 4-8 per day until I got my driver's license and became obsessed with guitars & cars($$).
Nothing special, but it was the biggest wedge I’ve 180 off!
Let me know how I did . Score or bore ?!?!
At 45, it’s fair to say my centre of mass has changed a bit since my 20s! So getting back on the bike has taken a bit of time and patience.
After a couple of weeks of cruising around in the neighbourhood, I’ve built enough confidence to see what I can and can’t do at the park.
Today was day 1. I literally haven’t bunnyhopped in 16 years!
What surprised me was how strong the muscle memory was. Within a few tries I’d landed a hop to manual on a little manual pad - my favourite chill trick.
Then I spent a bit of time on a 6ft transition, slowly working my way up to the coping and finally airing the rear tyre out! Super happy with this!
Last on my list was dropping into a 4ft bowl. I’m not sure why but it took a while to build up the courage to do it - I nearly chickened out. It was like I’d never done it before! But eventually I did it - of course it was far simpler than I’d built it up in my head to be!
All in all I’m super stoked with my progress. It’s baby steps but it definitely didn’t feel as squirly or alien as I’d thought it might. I didn’t hurt myself, but I am definitely feeling some sore Muscles I haven’t used in a decade!
For those thinking about getting back into riding - do it! It felt awesome!
If you’ve already taken the plunge again, how long have you been back, and what tricks are you working on - what’ve you lost, what’ve you learnt that’s new!?
What have I got here boys. I got a limited window to pull the trigger on this thing for a hundred bucks. Is it a Dave mira ?
Another Unc sesh at some really dope parks.
This is huge for the company and I hope it helps their brand flourish again. This is a reminder to buy from your local shops!
I’ve been riding for almost a month now and I wear very baggy pants and they always get really dirty from the chain. is there a way to avoid this?
Has anyone else went from 175mm cranks to 165 and had a hard time with certain tricks?
MAN , I used to be able to snap 5 cabs , full cabs, slider full cabs and now I cant seem to find that sweet spot with the shorter cranks. Should I just slap my old twombolts on and count the loss of the new 165s or should I keep at it for a bit.
What amazing news this is. Sparkys is back under Bonner family ownership and they are moving away from the kiss of death that is source bmx. Hopefully this means we can get the parts in the UK again after the disaster that was the source merger.
Just wanted to share one of my favourite tricks.. :)
