Original 84 or 87 Haro freestyler frame with old school green mags & tyres. Few bits aren’t original or painted but I got it for a steal.
Only problem is the headset needs a couple of bits. Easy fix. They pedals can go🤣 same with a few bits.
Time to start putting my own scales on a few Spydercos & I was wondering where people got their scales from.
I’ve been told Ali express & DH Gate but how good are they really???
Is there anyone on the forum that makes scales or handles? I bought a sage 5 couple years ago and the guy 3D printed a handle for it. Defo a favourite of mine and most people’s when they have a look at it.

As a kid I had a PK Ripper BMX & I worked hard for it. Loved that thing and was the only person with one.
40 years later I’m 52 and been riding a Haro BMX the last 2 months.
I want to get a bike for comfort and some tracks, is my mind stuck on the BMX & the PK Ripper fantasy?
Should I get off and get a mountain bike or a 29” GT performer or a fast RIpper with 10 gears? I’m mostly riding flat roads and the odd trails, got a BMX for all else.
I know they are wheelie bikes but I’ve heard they are super comfy on a journey TIA.
My mind is set on an 80’s, maybe early 90’s BMX mainly as a wall piece as I have a Haro I ride. Doesn’t have to be OG everything and I might build it or buy it whole. Top bikes I want is….
GT pro performer. Prob a heritage model.
Haro Freestyler (bit out my league, there’s one built that’s a 2016 model with a tiny dent in one of the 2 top bars on the frame for £600. Pictured above. All decent parts on it as they were only sold as frame and forks.
GT Dyno Compe chrome full bike. Probably the cheapest one and got a few round the £300-£400 mark for the full bike.
Full built Redline and Skyways are out my price range. Especially in Scotland. 🏴
What would you lot do wanting a wall piece, build it up but by bit or buy a whole bike and change what you don’t like? I do like the white and chrome frames and wheels.
I’m thinking £700-£800 so about $1000. I’m open to Heritage stuff also.
Listed as a redline frame but surely the serial number will be visible, can’t find one he says. I’m not familiar with Redline, wasn’t many in Britain I don’t think.
I send and receive a lot of bits by SD before 1pm the next day and i would say every second one takes 2 days, if not 3.
I wish I had kept receipts and claimed on it. Same with stuff I’ve bought. Paying almost £10 post and getting it 2 days later.
Surely I can claim this cash back as RM haven’t kept their agreement.
I’ve about 6 SD receipts I’ve kept lately that all took more than a day.

I’m looking to get a mid 80’s BMX after messing about on a Dave Mirra Haro. I had some of these bikes 1st time around and my question is, what bike would you get out them & why or why not. Either to restore or buy. Also the pros & cons as I live in Scotland 🏴 so don’t have as much access to bits as you all do.

On my 2nd barn find and I’ve came across these beauty’s and some aluminium wheels.
Someone said the BYZ Yamaha was all genuine parts & could be worth a fair bit.
I made an offer and bought all this.
Did I do ok? The Redline frame I’ve still to pick up. It has all genuine parts apart from wheels and seat. I’ll say what I paid later.
I was a fanatic as a kid and owned several bikes. I’m looking to either buy a frame and do one up or buy a bike and fix any problems.
What would you buy to fix up and why? Pros and cons?
Thinking of buying this but the frame again is throwing me off what it is. There is Skyway, Mongoose and GT parts. Specs are all very good. Gusset on it is throwing me off as I’ve never seen one like it. TIA.
