It’s such a strange genre to follow. No one can sustain cultural relevancy while doing it. Pitbull, Flo Rida, Lil Nas X, The Kid Laroi, Iggy Azalea are all memories. (And no, Drake is not Pop-Rap)

I’m tired of seeing this low IQ discourse everywhere. Music is too diverse for this to be a thing. Like why am I seeing Beethoven get compared to Michael fricking Jackson? They’re not comparable. Compare Beethoven to other composers. Compare MJ to other pop stars. Compare Kanye to other rappers. They’re all great for INCOMPARABLE reasons.

If you do compare them, AT LEAST make sure everyone is being compared under the SAME EXACT CRITERIA. Whether that be numbers, influence, technical ability, etc. Rant over.

Meaning songs that are bad on its own but add value to an overall project. And interludes don’t count, actual full length songs please.

I know the store music is painfully mediocre but there’s a couple gems. I love when “Weekend Run” by the Unknown Mortal Orchestra comes on. It’s soothing in a weird way
