Pretty funny that this drawing of a commslug in the book is pretty much exactly what a Spanish shawl nudibranch looks like! There’s lots here in Southern California. Does anyone know if Brandon has talked about or the artist who drew them has talked about being inspired by nudibranchs ? I’m having a hard time finding the artists name too.

For context, I love soldier, poet, king. Looking for more Christian worship that is actually artful and beautiful.

It’s hard to tell from the picture but this bat ray was HUGE

It was stuck after high tide but definitely moving, secreting this weird yellow substance too.

Some leftover sausage, broccoli, gnocchi and russet potatoes thrown in the oven with some basic seasonings + lemon and Parmesan, turned out pretty good.

I just want an outlet to talk about how great my husband is. He’s just the best. He’s so kind and thoughtful and he takes good care of me. He challenges me intellectually and to try new things and adventures. He is genuinely so kind to anyone he meets and makes everyone feel special, and he really does care for people. He’s a great cook too and makes me tiramisu. And he’s creative and imaginative and silly! I just love him!

We were friends a long time before I was smart enough to realize what a catch he is. Had to endure some crappy relationships in the mean time but so happy I finally had the sense to go on a date with him.

Anyways girls, there is HOPE! There are good men out there, don’t settle for a man who won’t treat you right.
