Abalone in palos verdes

Hey all! I found a 4 inch (LIVE!) abalone in PV yesterday. I was ecstatic, has anyone else found live Abalone in that area and if so, what species? I think the one I found was a green but I’m not sure.

What could this be? Found in Wilmington CA

It was stuck after high tide but definitely moving, secreting this weird yellow substance too.

Leftovers all baked together and just so happy with my husband

Some leftover sausage, broccoli, gnocchi and russet potatoes thrown in the oven with some basic seasonings + lemon and Parmesan, turned out pretty good.

I just want an outlet to talk about how great my husband is. He’s just the best. He’s so kind and thoughtful and he takes good care of me. He challenges me intellectually and to try new things and adventures. He is genuinely so kind to anyone he meets and makes everyone feel special, and he really does care for people. He’s a great cook too and makes me tiramisu. And he’s creative and imaginative and silly! I just love him!

We were friends a long time before I was smart enough to realize what a catch he is. Had to endure some crappy relationships in the mean time but so happy I finally had the sense to go on a date with him.

Anyways girls, there is HOPE! There are good men out there, don’t settle for a man who won’t treat you right.

Tips for best experience

I’d consider myself a pretty experienced tidepooler but I’m always looking for tips on how to improve!

I go during lowest tides of the month, bring a flashlight, have waterproof shoes, but I always want to improve.
