What camera should I get?

**Budget**: Around €1000, this would include lens(es), an extra battery and a camera bag, willing to go a little higher, especially if cashback brings price back to about this much

**Country**: Netherlands

**Condition**: preferably new, could be lightly used

**Type of Camera**: Mirrorless or DSLR

**Intended use**: hybrid, for my studies I will be both doing some photography and working on film. My focus will be on the film aspects. Needs to last for multiple years

**If photography; what style**: exploring different styles. Although i don’t expect to be doing stuff like shooting sporting events or hard to reach nature

**If video what style**: Documentary and fiction.

**What features do you absolutely need**: it needs to have a port for a microphone AND headphones to listen to the sound. These are required. Replacable lens.

**What features would be nice to have**: I’m honestly not educated enough about camera’s to name specific things :)

**Portability**: pretty portable. A shoulder strap or fitting inside a regular back with laptop/accessories!

**Cameras you're considering**: a preferred brand would be Canon, since I’ve worked with some canon camera’s previously. (Specifically canon eos 70D, 80D and 90D) although I’m not bound by it.

**Cameras you already have**: I don’t own any camera’s myself except for my phone.

**Notes**: the study itself will have stuff like the microphone, lights and tripods as rentals. I am willing to go up a bit budget wise because I don’t know if this budget fits my needs. If anything is unclear let me know, thank you in advance!
