Is our 2012 Leaf with an EV system warning light safe to drive?
It's old. 70k miles and has four bars left. I picked up a Bluetooth OBD scanner and used the Car Scanner app as well as LeafSpy to get the DTCs off the car. With only four bars it has maybe 23 miles of range, which is fine for the short trips that it's being used for (short trips for my wife's kids going to community college). My main concern is if there's anything in these codes that jumps out that indicates the car isn't safe to drive. Here's the list from Car Scanner, and a screenshot from LeafSpy. I also tested the 12v battery with a multimeter and it's ast 12.3v, low but within range.
Except for the poor health of the HV battery and researching these codes, I think it's fine, but I'm not an expert.
