Tavern Style Pizza from my favorite local spot in the Chicago Suburbs.

Another few pics from Italian Villa Pizza. Pizza is just sausage and pepperoni with extra sauce as I love their homemade sauce.

I miss .45 ACP submachine guns....

I would love to see them bring back the .45 ACP to a more common status. Right now only two guns use it and it seems to niche. I love using it in the Winchester rifle but I used to love carrying that rifle and a UMP or a Tommy Gun. It would make the game more interesting again instead of just having 9mm. And bring back the selection of handguns in .45 ACP such as the 1911 and the Rhino Revolver.

Is it common for teachers to have a second job in order to survive? How do parents and admin react when they find out?

I saw this meme on another subreddit. Is it common for teachers to now have second jobs in order to make ends meet? What do the administrators think about this because I see often see school administrators making six figures and it seems unjust that teachers are making so little? What do the parents think? Have any of you bumped into a students parents to have them realize that you are working a second job? Do they say anything?

With the recent introduction of a $25 an hour minimum wage bill, what other improvements do you think Congress could push for in order to improve the lives of the citizenry? Things like 6 weeks paid vacation, guaranteed sicktime, guaranteed pensions, and sectoral bargaining?

I am thinking that it is been in favor of the oligarchs for too long. What programs could Democrats push for successfully in order to improve our lives?

Would liberals be open to supporting changing the Constitution so that people who become US Citizens and are born outside of the USA could become POTUS? This seems more Democratic and in line with the values of everyone being equal. It would also allow us to run more diverse candidates.

Imagine seeing a President Zohran Mamdani or President Ilhan Omar. It is tragic that we are not allowing US citizens to become POTUS because they were not lucky enough to be born here. It would also allow us to run more diverse candidates and show that we truly do support diversity instead of candidates from majority demographics all of the time.

Question for budtenders regarding the new laws...

Does anyone know what the new laws are going to do to the industry? I work in the industry and at the dispensary I am working at they are getting rid of their security guards. I have been reading the laws and security is still required. One of my coworkers told me that when she started in the industry when they first legalized it, they just had their receptionist also act as their security. Does that mean whoever works in reception will require an IL PERC Card (A license required for security guards) in addition to their bud-tending license?

Will employees be getting paid more for this new duty? How is this going to impact safety? Lots of people have told me they feel security is not necessary and I agree but it is legally required. Not to mention having worked in the industry out West, it is nice to know there is a guard there in case someone gets out of hand. Working retail in this industry really opens your eyes up to how entitled people are with regards to workers.

My friend is a guard and now he is out of work. His company let him go with an email and a little over a weeks notice. The way this industry treats their employees is shameful. A dispensary in Champaign called "The Dispensary" just locked their employees out and hung a sign letting them know they were laid off is what I was told. How shameful is that? It really seems we need to unionize the whole industry to ensure the workers are being treated better.
