What do you do for work?

Curious what people answer to this question. I basically say I’m an electrical engineer that does some software development. I find it would require too much technical jargon for the average person to understand what FPGA development is exactly.

Disabling DRLs

Hi all, not sure if this has been discussed here before but I’ve scoured a bunch of different forums already. Basically I want to remove my low beams from being used as DRLs but as I’ve discovered my truck doesn’t seem to be “standard”. I tried the most common suggestion of disconnecting the resistor module under the driver side headlight but this didn’t solve it so I doce deeper. I found that my DRL effectively switches the “HEAD” relay in the engine fuse box as well as the LO (RH/LH) beam fuses making it seem like my BCM is programmed to power the lo beams as the DRL rather than being routed through some lower voltage splice like most people seem to have. My stalk also doesn’t have the dedicated DRL function.

Curious if anyone has had this experience and if there’s a potential solution?

Edit: I have a 2012 Trail Teams
