I might have messed up and my players have no reason to go to Maelstrom

My players just left the Eye of the All-Father after Iymrith's attack and I may have messed up how much and what information I gave them.

With their questions they found out that King Hekaton was kidnaped and that the Kraken society is involved and now they straight up don't have any interest in going to Maelstrom.

I can just invert the order of stuff and having their first visit to Maelstrom be them taking King Hekaton there (they do want to save him, the group decided to help restore the old Ordning) but I was hoping they would go there before that so I could use more of the princesses, maybe even having Serissa going with them to save Hekaton.

At least they already have a conch (taken from Chief Guh) and as bonus are actively wanting to defeat duke Zalto. But I wanted to find an excuse to convince them to go to Maelstrom before fighting any of the other giants and/or going after the Kraken society. Any ideas? They haven't met either Claugiyliamatar or Klauth but are interested in pursuing both after hearing about them and will probably try talking to the dragons before going after the kraken society, maybe there is something I can do with them?

[D&D5e] Considering migrating from Roll20, need help

Group considering migrating from Roll20. A few questions

I am currently DMing Storm King's Thunder on roll20 and me and my group are talking about migrating to Foundry, but I of course have some doubts:

1- How easy is it to convert roll20 content do Foundry? I did see that there are convention tools, but do they transfer the maps with the tokens, dynamic light etc as they are or would I need to do those manually?

2- How "heavy" is Foundry? I have a good PC, but two of my players have low end computers. They don't really struggle with roll20 (well, one of them plays on the phone somehow, so I don't actually know if their PC can handle) but I don't want to invest money without a guarantee that they would be able to play.

3- Which mods/addons would be interesting for me to use? What are some of the "must-haves"?

4- Should I even migrate now? We might just finish the campaign on roll20 and migrate on the next campaign if the transition would slow down too much the flow of the game or something

Advice on how to tie player's backstory to the main campaign

I have this one player whose characters I never really had an opportunity to "do much" with, but it's not like he wanted a spotlight, however this time he wants to do more, he wants to make his character actually matter in the grand scheme of the story, you know? And of course, I want to give him what he wants but I do need some help/inspiration on what exactly to do.

His character is a divine soul sorcerer who has powers given by the goddess of joy, Llira. His character is meant to be on a quest personally given by Llira herself and the player wants this quest to be tied to giants and the "main plot" in some way shape or form.

I don't mind changing stuff in the story to better accommodate the character, I'm just not sure on what to change in an interesting way. Any tips?

I didn't want to ask him to rework the backstory to use another deity cause Llira herself was already a rework. Initially the character was just related to the goddess of harvest, Chauntea, but she was so "bard-coded" that I recommended the player to look up some more "art related" gods.
