Launched some design improvements for those with high DPI (you'll see crisper images) and with 5k or 6k monitors (you'll see more!).

I have a few more tweaks to make.... Need to make the omnibar and top header a bit more responsive and deal with a few overflows.

[2] You can flip through the art in the page 2 at a time... Gatefold style. :)

[3] Carousels are larger everywhere.

What data or columns do I need?

We do our best to read any format, but this starter sheet gives you an Ideal and a Basic option on what data you need to provide for a successful import.

Do you support live shows for tape-friendly bands like Grateful Dead and Phish?

Yes, and they land on their own Tapes tab on your shelf instead of cluttering your records.

A row is read as a tape when its title carries a date (Grateful Dead 1977-05-08) or a taper’s source code (SBD, AUD, MTX), which is how tapes are usually labelled already. There’s no separate date column to fill in; we read the title you already have. Those rows skip the studio-release matcher, so a tape never sits in your shelf looking like it failed.

For shows we find on archive.org or etree.org we bring in the setlist, lineup, reviews, and playback link for you to listen in the app.

Note: For adding individual shows, we also support import via URL. Paste any etree.org or archive.org link into the Add Flow Search Box.

Franklin's Tower is one of my all time favorite Dead songs. The Music Never Stopped is also up there.

Both are on Side A. What a classic.

I have opened up the ability for all of you lovely music nerds to correct genres on the album page when they are blatantly wrong.

One Grateful Dead album was categorized as Hip Hop on Discogs. Call them country, folk, rock, classic rock, americana... but definitely not hiphop. :)

Now, each user can update incorrect genres globally and help ALL users avoid this OCD annoyance.

As of now, about 100 albums are seeded with studio gear. I always wonder what mixer and pedals were used. Now I know!

First step was getting some interesting data into the system. Next step is making it pretty. Check out NIN Pretty Hate Machine's Album Page. This has a focus on "The Room"

I plan to seed this information for the top NNN albums/artists over the next few weeks.

[1] On the spin page, I added an early version of a feature to generate additional spin choices based upon a word, a mood, a phrase....

I have some cool things planned here including a bit of a "choose your own adventure" type of spin generation.

...Keep your eyes peeled... The CLERK just hired his first employee.

[2] Make sure you download this iOS update if you use CarPlay. There are a ton of improvements/fixes to Carplay.

[1] V3 Album Page is now 100% live for all users.

[2] Add Flow Improvements --> Made it easier to look up pressing information on mobile and desktop. Updated sort order. Added Eject panel with tracklist/play affordances. Improved autocomplete.

[3] Shelf & Search --> Improved how search works especially for albums you don't own. Improved how partnerships like Lennon-McCartney appear in searches. Improved how short artist names appear (ex: REM, U2, Who)

[4] Added additional nudges to help guide users into getting things setup all the way (last.fm, setlist.fm, etc). You'll see when you earn new badges as well.

[5] Better identification of "complete runs" to feed the clerk good information. Matches what's calculated on the artist page. Thanks for the bug report!

[6] Fixed "Mixed credits" bug where I was displaying incorrect credits/metadata that caused Recommendations to have wrong producers and the clerk to confuse credits across albums. Thank you for the bug report--still monitoring this one to make sure it's resolved.

Boring update: Just back-end improvements for sign-in and Carpay (ios).

This week have some cool stuff planned and will be making some additional "spin of the day" improvements for all users.

Been waiting for this one for almost 2 weeks!

[1] If you haven't used CarPlay in awhile, it's SO MUCH better on this version. More improvements than I can list.

[2] Sign-in writes to keychain better to reduce login frequency.

[3] Better device tiering for both low, middle, and high tiers of devices. Newer devices get DPI and texture increases, older devices get reduced GPU-type stuff to make things crisper.

[4] Album Page V4 is out - making a final round of polish that evening and then I'll post pics.

Been working a lot on how the app works on this old janky 2GB Samsung relic I have.

As a part of all the package updates behind the scenes, I also made a ton of performance improvements including a better login path for old devices... and it also carries forward into the flagship login.

The app is also 10MB smaller.

Please let me know if you notice any improvements or things not working on android.

[STILL waiting on Apple to approve my iOS builds. My dev rep said that Carplay takes longer to approve than normal apps.]

• iOS Build - It has major improvements to CarPlay. Hang in there! So many bugfixes.
• Android Build - Just submitted this to Google with a lot of behind-the-scenes updates and changes including some system level accessibility improvements.
• Web Backends - Today is package upgrade day! That means, a lot of behind the scenes changes with testing so they don't break things.

Went through about 50 pages across the site and fixed a ton of zoom and font wrapping issues.

A few require pushes to Apple/Android, and those will be on the 1.26 version.
