Which hand tools do you recommend for non professional use?

I’m curious about everyone’s experience and opinions about the kind of tools that you could buy at a big box store like Home Depot or Lowe’s for example.

I’m not interested in buying anything like Matco or Snap-on because they won’t be used professionally.

I’m mainly interested in tools for shade tree maintenance and basic home repair.
I have some experience with Husky, Icon, Craftsman and Kobalt. Which of those are good and why or why not?

Christmas Cactus help

This is an indoor plant that was recently moved outside for 2 days in the Texas heat and humidity. Can it be revived?

Normal indoor temps range from 72-74° with moderate indirect light (next to window)

It is watered weekly and is in miracle grow potting soil

My late father’s pocket watch.

I didn’t have a chance to ask him much more about this watch, only that he said he took it to a jeweler to have it serviced. After doing some research, this is quite an interesting watch.
As you can probably tell, it’s a Hamilton 992B and according to the serial number and the case number it was a late production model made in 1965.
Model: Hamilton 992B Railway Special
Movement: 21 jewels, adjusted to 6 positions (railroad grade)
Size: 16s
Case: 10K gold-filled by Star Watch Case Co.
Production year: 1965
Made in: Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA

The bezel and case back are tricky to remove and replace so I try not to remove them frequently. Once it is set, it is by far the most accurate watch I own.
