2003 Silverado 1500 5.3L

Replacing leaking intake gasket and valley pan gasket. I noticed the rear sensor was looking real rough and the grommet was cracked (very stiff and brittle).

I tried using a mini pry bar to pop them out and they both broke off. I'm not sure how to get the remnants out to replace them. I tried a propane torch and a pick; the heat softens it but it just tears off in tiny pieces.

I can pick at it but the pick won't reach as deep as the grommets go in.

What should I do to get these out? Truck needs to be drivable in 2 days 😬
