So after 3 days the work was finally commenced, but it was hindered by the rain mid-way. The uprooted tree has been causing issues with the electricity, the tree was cut down 20 % by unauthorised people, those who wanted it for their daily usage.

Did anyone else show up? No, we had 2 relatives here, none showed up. Neither did my friends. Do I blame them? No. Was I hurt? Yes. Because time and time I have helped them. I even resorted to begging to some extent but in the end I don't think I should.

Today's rain caused damage too, another tree fell, but okay didn't destroy anything. After some more requests, the electricity was restored for 5 hours. Charged our phones and important stuff.

Thank you everyone for your kind wishes in my previous post, you guys have been very sweet, and I'm grateful to you all.

When no relatives or friends showed up to help, these two didn't leave our side. Even for a minute. All i do is give them food and pets. Their loyalty has shown no bounds. They didn't let any stranger come near our home, because the barricades were broken and we live in the corner house, it's prone to robbers/thieves. I'm so lucky to have them.

I didn't know i would be posting this, got really scared that I'll lose my mom and dog as they were inside the room whose roof was about to crash.

My heart sank when I actually ran to see them scared. I was in my room studying and they were in the master bedroom.

The tree uprooted, the pole got pulled by it. We have been constantly complaining about cutting the tree as it was too close to the wires. But the horticulture department never responded. Here today we are scared to be inside the home.
