Did my friend get scammed by a taxi driver?
My friend recently went on a family trip with her mom and younger brother. Before the trip, they agreed on the taxi charges with the driver:
Day 1: ₹3,600
Day 2: ₹2,500
Day 3: ₹3,000
The driver seemed trustworthy, and they agreed on these rates before starting the trip. My friend also paid him advances during the trip.
However, on the last night of the trip, the driver suddenly claimed that he had "made a mistake" while calculating the fare and said he would now charge much more than what they had originally agreed.
My friend refused because they already had a fixed agreement. But the driver became angry, raised his voice, and kept insisting. Since it was late at night and she was traveling only with her mother and younger brother, she didn't want the situation to escalate or risk their safety.
Feeling pressured, she ended up paying an extra ₹11,000 just to avoid a confrontation.
Does this sound like a legitimate fare adjustment, or was she pressured into paying and effectively scammed? If this was a scam, is there anything she can still do after the trip, such as filing a complaint or reporting the driver?
I'd appreciate any advice.

Need some buying advice (Newbie here)
I’m confused between:
KZ Duonic USB-C/DSP version – ₹2359
KZ Duonic 3.5mm version – ₹1699 + JCally JM12 DAC – ₹699
Total price ends up almost the same, so which setup makes more sense overall?
Is the built-in DSP on the USB version actually better, or is it smarter to get the 3.5mm version with an external DAC like the JM12?
And if you have any other recommendations around this price range, please do tell.
